Hydrometeorological disasters that struck West Aceh Regency at the end of 2025 caused extensive housing damage, highlighting the need to identify the factors influencing housing habitability as a basis for rehabilitation and reconstruction priorities. This study investigated the influence of economic conditions, disaster vulnerability, housing physical condition, and social conditions on the habitability of housing following hydrometeorological disasters. A total of 187 households were selected using a purposive-proportional sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and field observations and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the regression model explained 78.2% of the variance in housing habitability (R² = 0.782), with all independent variables having a significant simultaneous effect on housing habitability. Partially, the physical condition of the house was identified as the most influential factor, followed by disaster vulnerability, while economic and social conditions did not show significant effects. These findings indicate that the level of physical building damage and the vulnerability of occupants are the primary determinants of housing habitability in post-hydrometeorological disaster areas. This study proposes an integrated housing habitability evaluation model that combines building physical conditions and disaster vulnerability to support more objective and evidence-based housing rehabilitation and reconstruction prioritization.
